I am a journalist with 15 years of experience and a volunteer paramedic in my free time. I often meet, by the nature of my profession and passion, people who suffer, people who are sick, people who have a lot to share and have no one to listen to.

EduMedu is a soul project, which aims to help, to educate, listen and offer. It is more than a mobile television (we can film and edit images later or we can broadcast live, anytime, from anywhere, on any platform, including TV stations), it is the tool we make available to associations and patients. To make their stories known.

Basically, we want the video messages, which are the most suggestive, to circulate and help those with serious illnesses.

Fundraising campaigns have a much greater impact if the message is illustrated.

Through a video, patients can share their experience with the disease to those newly diagnosed.

We are the ones who can produce these materials. We work with images, we film events and we interview every day as part of the job, but for them, as far as possible, we want to do it for free. We put our equipment and know-how to work, but we need help with the expenses related to logistics, post-production and video editing. Sometimes, for a 5-minute material, it takes weeks of work. It takes patience and time to familiarize a child with autism with the camera. But how useful it is for other parents to learn a certain motricity or breathing exercise that they can do through a game!

I, Alexandra, and the cameramen team have patience, empathy, and warmth. And we offer them with the clear purpose of helping.
But we need help, too.

You, the donor, and other people involved, who donate, together with the patient association can help dozens, maybe even hundreds of patients and their families to better manage the disease.

Why do we need 10,000 euros? Because we had to set a sum. The costs are higher but much more important is the final satisfaction. The target of 15 assisted associations or patients is not our limit, it’s just a number because we have to set one. The fact that we play for 3 hours with a child to help him relax and let us enter his world is not wasted time.
